Precautions to be taken before Taking Biltricide Generic Praziquantel:
- Let your Doctor know about your complete medical history.
- Let your doctor know, if you have any allergies to medicine, foods, or other substance.
- Tell your Doctor about the Prescription medicine, non-prescription medicine, vitamin supplements, herbal products you are taking.
- Before starting Biltricide treatment, consult your Doctor if you are pregnant, planning to be pregnant, or breast-feeding.
- If you have heart problem, kidney problem, or worm infection of brain, let your Doctor know about any illness you are suffering from.
- Doctor should monitor the patients who are suffering from cardiac irregularities.
- Minimal increases in liver enzymes have been reported in some patients.
- If Schistosomiasis or fluke infection is diagnosed to be associated with Cerebral Cysticercosis, Patient should be admitted to hospital during the Biltricide treatment.
- Talk to your Doctor, if you are using Anticonvulsants such as: Phenytoin, Phenobarbital, Carbamazepine, Chloroquine, Dexamethasone, Rifampin, or Antifungals such as: Ketoconazole, Cimetidine, or erythromycin.
- As Biltricide may cause dizziness, be careful while driving the vehicle or operating machinery.
- As elderly patients are more sensitive to Biltricide, be cautious while using on them
- Use Biltricide with extra care for children, as safety and effectiveness in this age group has not been confirmed.
- Before starting the treatment of Biltricide, consult your Doctor if you have parasitic eye infection.
